Why did you choose to come to Penn State? Penn State feels like home. When I first visited the college, I looked over at my mom and told her this is where I want to go. The campus is absolutely beautiful, and there are so many opportunities to get involved with. Plus, the engineering program is amazing!
What is your best Penn State or engineering memory? I loved doing Girl Scout Saturdays with Cheryl. The young girls were really excited about everything they were learning, and I loved that we could help inspire these girls to become engineers.
What advice would you give a first-year engineer? Don't be afraid. Everything will seem extremely overwhelming for the first couple weeks. The most important thing to remember is to stay confident. Never doubt yourself. Go and try out for a sport, or activity. If you don't make it, try again next semester or next year. But don't give up. Join clubs and meet new people as often as you can. Be true to yourself and remember to smile every day!
What is a fun fact about yourself? I love to cook and bake!
