Co-op with Johnson & Johnson, Ethicon Inc. Spring - Summer 2017 and Internship with Johnson & Johnson, CSS (Cardiovascular & Specialty Solutions) Summer 2018

Why did you choose to come to Penn State?

I came from a very small high school, so I really wanted to go to a big school and really get out of my comfort zone. Besides that, I wanted a school with a great engineering program, so Penn State was the best fit!

What is your best Penn State or engineering memory?

My best Penn State memory was dancing in THON 2017. It was definitely the best weekend of my life because it was just full of so much happiness and hope

What did you wish you knew as a first-year engineer?

I wish I focused on building friendships more than I focused on school. As important as studying and homework are, it's really important to have friends that'll have fun with you as well as support you through school and life.

What was your favorite class you took as a freshmen?

My favorite class was BIOL 142. It's a BME requirement, but I found it really fun and interesting to do hands on experiments. You even get to work with frogs!

What is a fun fact about yourself?

I've done 3 cross country road trips!
