Why did you choose to come to Penn State?

There's a reason it's called the Happy Valley. I wanted to surround myself with people who strive for success and want to lead a rounded, happy college life. Knowing that women in engineering had a strong Penn State network made me feel that there were tons of attainable opportunities.

What is your best Penn State or engineering memory?

The week leading up to THON. Anyone can feel the excitement and anticipation anywhere they go on campus. It creates such a strong sense of community, a theme commonly found around Penn State. It's extremely empowering to feel such a part of something so impactful on a college campus.

What did you wish you knew as a first-year engineer?

Not to choose your major based off of what looks the best or translates best to what other people think is a good idea. Choose what interests you the most, and it will be the easiest way for you to be successful -- and happy!

What was your favorite class you took as a freshmen?

I always looked forward to going to EDSGN because we got to use our creativity and explore more about engineering instead of simply learning material for exams.

What is a fun fact about yourself?

I have a secret recipe for chocolate chip cookies. Be my friend and I'll make you some.
