Internships: Highway Design Intern with JMT, Site Development Intern with The Pidcock Company, Geotechnical Engineering Intern with Gannett Fleming; Study Abroad: Patagonia, Chile (Natural Resources of Patagonia, winter break); Research: design and execute experiments to study wave attenuation in meta-soil

Impressive alumni network and limitless opportunities available

What is your best Penn State or engineering memory?
Building and racing a successful concrete canoe with my teammates to win 2nd place in the Mid-Atlantic Region Competition!

What did you wish you knew as a first-year engineer?
To try every new thing I had the opportunity to and not worry so much about school work (while still being responsible)

What was your favorite class you took as a freshmen?
LARCH 060: Landscape architecture (history of why parks, college campuses, cities look the way they do)

What is a fun fact about yourself?
I have hiked the mountains shown on the Patagonia label!
