Why did you choose to come to Penn State?
I only applied to two schools because I knew I wanted the Big 10 athletic atmosphere, but the loyalty and excitement that flows through Penn State is contagious. Being at Penn State makes me happy everyone treats you like family and that was really important to me.

What is your best Penn State or engineering memory?
I have to pick just one? Well I joined Club CrossFit just this past Spring Semester and I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I put in a lot of work learning new skills and spending extra time in the gym working on my form. At our last workout, I received the joy award for always having a positive attitude and always having a smile on my face. That award meant a lot to me. I hadn't spent a lot of time with this group of people but they really became my family. The gym was somewhere I could go to get away from the pressures of my engineering classes and I was shocked that the team had appreciated me as much as I appreciated them.

What did you wish you knew as a first-year engineer?
I wish I would've know that failing one test wasn't going to be the downfall of my entire GPA

What was your favorite class you took as a freshmen?
EDSGN 100 w/ Jess Menold

What is a fun fact about yourself?
I collect sand from every beach I visit.
