I choose to come to Penn State because it felt like home. Of course it has an amazing engineering program but it is unique in its support of women in the college. What did you wish you knew as a first-year engineer?

It is absolutely alright to feel overwhelmed! Everyone around you feels the same way so instead of trying to hide it, don't be afraid of talking with others about what you are experiencing. Your peers can help you, and you can help them figure out almost anything you are facing.

EDSGN 100H
