What Internship/Co-Op/Study Abroad or Research experience have you had?

This summer (2018) I am interning with Exelon in Kennett Square, PA.

Why did you choose to come to Penn State?

My mom and dad both went to Pitt, as well as all of my aunts and uncles. I wanted to be different, and I also don't see myself attending school in a major city such as Pittsburgh. I LOVE the college town feel of State College. I wanted a big school with great sports teams and a top engineering program and Penn Staten really hit the nail on the head. I also think navy and white look better than navy and gold.

What is your best Penn State or engineering memory?

I will never forget when we played Ohio State my freshman year. Everyone left the game at half time because it was freezing and no one thought we would actually win. I stayed the entire game and jumped on the field as soon as the game ended. I'll never forget it!!

What did you wish you knew as a first-year engineer?

I wish I knew about all the different places to study on campus. I just discovered some new ones this past semester and one of my favorites is upstairs in Chambers.

What was your favorite class you took as a freshmen?

I loved CAS100A for engineers. I took it with Michael Alley and it has by far been the most beneficial class I've taken.

I have 3 pictures with James Franklin <3
