What activities (clubs) are you involved in outside of WEPO?

I am heavily involved in THON. I am the fundraising outreach coordinator for the volunteer safety committee for THON 2019. I am also a professional development director for SWE this year. I am also involved in CHAARG, a fitness club.

What Internship/Co-Op/Study Abroad or Research experience have you had?

For the past three summers, I have worked a my dad's powdered metal contact company called Checon PMC.

Why did you choose to come to Penn State?

I choose to come to Penn State because the campus felt like home. Since I am from a small town in the woods of Pennsylvania, it has the stuff to do that a city offers but doesn't have the big city feel.

What is your best Penn State or engineering memory?

All the football games in the fall with my friends and THON 2018 as an R&R captain.

What did you wish you knew as a first-year engineer?

That your journey will not be easy but you can overcome anything. DON'T compare yourself to anyone else!!

Chem 112

What is a fun fact about yourself?

I was on a hip hop dance team in high school.
