Why did you choose to come to Penn State? I have been visiting the campus since I was very young and always wanted to be a student here!
What has been your best memory as an engineering student? Being able to apply concepts learned in EDSGN 100 in my summer internship. I have been giving coworkers basic tutorials on using Solidworks as well as other skills learned in class. While in class, it's some times hard for me to imagine the real world applications of topics, so being able to use skills learned in a class is a very rewarding experience.
What has been your best memory as a Penn State student? Definitely the football games with my friends. I had never been to any game other than ones at my high school, so being able to attend them here is an awesome experience.
What advice would you give a first-year engineer? Always go to office hours if you don't understand something, especially for classes in large lectures.
Give me one fun fact about yourself. I love to travel! My parents have given me the opportunity to visit many different countries since I was very young, and I hope to travel to many more throughout my life.
Nicole is a sophomore in Industrial Engineering.
