Elizabeth Krauss is a fifth year graduating in May 2014 from Architectural Engineering with a focus in Mechanical Systems.
Other than WEP, which is one of her favorite things, she really likes taking naps. She also loves running, but only outside. This summer she will be competing in the Friends of the Riverfront triathlon in Pittsburgh. It is the first race she will ever compete in and she is absolutely terrified.
She also loves reading and old movies. She has been trying to work her way through old novels (think Conrad, Fitzgerald, Wilde, and Tolstoy) and Katherine Hepburn movies, in between all her naps.
She is kind of an awkward person, and makes a lot of nerdy jokes, which are not necessarily funny. She asks that you not judge her.
She hates watching people bite ice cream, because it gives her a weird feeling in her neck. Her mom bites ice cream all of the time, but it’s her mother whom she loves so she doesn’t complain.
Her favorite food is frozen yogurt and she has confessed that she would be perfectly happy to eat it all day, every day. Her favorite flavor is birthday cake, drowned in rainbow sprinkles.
Liz is very much looking forward to, and dreading, WEP 2013. WEP has meant so much to her, and she hates knowing that this will be her last time truly being a part of it. She is both excited and saddened by the idea of coming back as an alumnus. <3
