Why did you choose to come to Penn State? I chose to come to Penn State after my first visit. While walking around and hearing everyone shout WE ARE, it made me feel like I was already apart of something special.
What has been your best memory as an engineering student? My best memory as an engineering student was attending the ASCE Concrete Canoe Competition. I was fortunate enough to be a paddler as a freshman for the competition. It was such a rewarding experience and I have made lasting friendships!
What has been your best memory as a Penn State student? My best memory as a Penn State student was my first THON. I was on the OPPerations Committee and we were responsible for setting up and tearing down THON. We also took care of the trash, bathrooms, and floors during THON. It was the most amazing 46 hours!
What advice would you give a first-year engineer? The best advice I can give a first-year engineer would be don't be afraid to ask for help. You were smart enough to get here, but we all need help every once in a while.
Give me one fun fact about yourself. I've participated in the Polar Bear Plunge for the past 3 years!
Corinne is a sophomore in Civil and Environmental Engineering (she thinks!).
