Why did you choose to come to Penn State? My dad attended Penn State and I have been going to football games every year since I was about 4 years old. It's a family tradition and it was the only school I applied to!
What has been your best memory as an engineering student? My best memory as an engineering student would have to be WEPO! I met so many great people in those first three days and I felt so much more prepared for my first year than I would have if I didn't participate.
What has been your best memory as a Penn State student? My best memory as a Penn State student would have to be the final total reveal at THON because of the atmosphere that was created in the BJC. It was incredible to see what the entire university could accomplish for such an important cause.
What advice would you give a first-year engineer? I would advise them to stay calm and not stress out about the little things. Even if something seems like a really big deal, there are so many resources to help solve the problem that in the end, it won't cause a huge conflict.
Give me one fun fact about yourself. One fun fact is that I hold 5 school records at my high school in various track and field events!
Christina is a sophomore in Mechanical Engineering.
