Why did you choose to come to Penn State? I choose to come to Penn State because I really love the community and Penn State spirit all over campus. Penn State was a school I wasn't thinking about seriously but when I came to visit, I felt so welcomed into the Penn State family and my engineering ambassador told us of all the endless opportunities that undergraduate engineers have. So that influenced me to come to Penn State. But also, I really wanted to experience Penn State football and other sports events because family friends would always talk about it was an awesome time and they would give anything to be a part of the student section again. I really wanted to go to a school that had a lot more to offer rather than awesome academics; and Penn State was that school for me. After hearing about everyone's experiences and my experiences itself while visiting, I decided to come to Penn State.
What is your best Penn State or engineering memory? My best Penn State memory was my freshman year's homecoming parade. The week leading up to the parade, I was helping decorate the SWE float. So when the time came for the parade, I loved all of the different floats especially the float that I helped work on. I really loved all of the Penn State spirit and just how awesome everyone was. But also, I really enjoyed seeing the alumni come back with their friends and family. The environment was so great and so much fun, that it was definitely my favorite time of the semester and my favorite Penn State memory.
What advice would you give a first-year engineer? My advice that I would give to incoming freshmen is to have fun and enjoy all aspects that college offers. To take all of the academic opportunities and know that school could get hard but to always push forward through the obstacles for your dreams.
What is a fun fact about yourself? I don't have a middle name
